Dr. Michael O'Leary earned a BA degree at Villanova University in Villanova, PA, and after completing four years at Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA, he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. He completed his Orthodontic specialty residency at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN. His practice is limited to Orthodontics.

He served on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Society of Orthodontists from 2002 - 2005 and was the president of the Wisconsin Society of Orthodontists in 2005.

Dr. O'Leary enjoys the specialty of orthodontics because of the relationships he builds with his patients. He gets tremendous satisfaction in seeing the final orthodontic treatment results obtained with his patients. He is especially excited about the SureSmile technique which he has incorporated into his practice. Dr. O'Leary strongly believes that an orthodontist must stay up to date in his profession and he attends many continuing education courses.

Dr. O'Leary was born in Jersey City, NJ. His family moved to Minnesota when he was a young boy and he attended high school in the Twin City area. He participated in football and baseball while in High School and was an all-state running back. Dr. O'Leary played football at Villanova University and still enjoys following the Wildcats. Dr. O'Leary married Sue, his high school sweetheart. They have four children; Colleen, her husband, Dan and Baby Patrick making his way into the O'Leary family in January 2010. Sean with his wife, Jamie and Baby Evelyn making her appearance in June 2009, Kevin with his wife Stephanie and Caitlin the youngest of the O'Leary kids. He loves sports and especially enjoyed watching his children participate in high school and college sports. These have included football, hockey, soccer, swimming; power lifting, track, and crew or rowing. He also enjoys sailing, power boating, kayaking, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing.

Dr. O'Leary is a member of the Wisconsin Rapids Rotary Club and served as its president from 1996 - 1997. He is also active in his church and served as Chairman of the Board of Directors from 2006 - 2007. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors for River Cities Bank.
