Orthodontics for Adults

Orthodontic treatment can be successful at any age and adults especially appreciate the benefits of a beautiful smile. There are many treatment options that will suit your personal preferences. We also offer SureSmile® in conjunction with the type of braces that you select. These include ceramic or clear braces (aesthetically pleasing), and gold or silver braces. Invisalign® (removable clear plastic appliances) may also be an option for less severe malocclusions. Since there is no growth potential for adults, in some cases, jaw surgery may be suggested to obtain proper jaw alignment. Dr. O'Leary will also evaluate and monitor bone and gum tissue for possible periodontal problems before, during or after your treatment.
